| The 7th edition of Shanghai Balboa Weekend (SBW) will be held in Shanghai from 3rd to 5th October, 2025. We would like to invite Balboa dancers from around the world to join this wonderful event. At this year’s event, there will be: – Workshops: 6 international instructors will lead intensive workshops suitable for all levels of Balboa dancers – International Guests who will bring their energy to our event through music, dancing, and classes – Live Band: amazing live music by Enric Peidro Swingtet – International DJs who will bring their best music to the dance floors – Competitions with top level dancers from around the world We look forward to seeing you at this 3-day event of exchange, dancing, learning – to celebrate our love for Balboa! About Shanghai Balboa Weekend: Started in 2019 and officially renamed Shanghai Balboa Weekend (SBW) in 2020, it is the first event dedicated to Balboa in Shanghai. Its goal is to provide a platform for exchange and a space for sharing for all Balboa dancers, aiming to make a contribution in spreading the love for Balboa. Besides having invited international instructors, it is also an event featuring performances, competitions and great dancing experience, making it the most welcomed annual event for many Balboa lovers in China. Since 2019, Shanghai Balboa Weekend has welcomed many incredible Balboa dancers including Andreas Olsson, Olga Marina, Blake Thiessen, Alice Jeng, Irina Amzashvili, Sylvia Sykes, Nick Williams, Jennifer Lee, and Matt Mitchell. |
